A book I have read

     


 The book May Mara Concert written by Mr. Mahinda Prasad Mas Ibula is one of the most beautiful story books I have ever read. I bought this book at the book fair held in Colombo🕮. This is a recommended book for the "Golden Book" award among Sinhala novels published in 2023. May's great show, this is really a beautiful story. A lovely novel full of intrigue and charm. Readers will feel that this story is based on a true story.

     A simple but beautifully written story with an unconventional ending, not expected from a story of this genretion, May Mara Show was a fascinating read, albeit a departure from the author's previous works. The metaphors, imagery and use of language in general were the most striking factors for me and were beautifully done throughout. Although it is a heartbreaking tale of unrequited love, and the characters and plot are based on real events from the author's past, certain key scenes in the story can be attributed to borderline hyperbole. Considering the audience is a product of the current era, certain social norms have changed significantly since the era in which the story began, some of the romantic actions of the second character may be interpreted as creepy or problematic, but that will ultimately be a personal matter. Each reader's view. All in all, an intriguing creation that makes the reader a witness to a story that would otherwise have been lost to time, but which may never have reached its potential, but now lives in the memories of thousands. It is a beautifully written short story about true love. The story is based on a past experience of the author and a friend he met.


This story is not only about love but also about making the one you love happy even if they don't know you exist. The story gave me mixed feelings to be honest and felt fake or false. And it felt a bit repetitive in the first half.

But the language and writing was really simple and beautiful. I have high hopes and I guess my review is biased. But I like the author's writing style.  This is the most beautiful story I have ever read.💓

                        It was a beautiful day😍😍😍. My mother and I hurriedly got ready to go to my school.  A felicitation ceremony was organized for the students who got university admission that day🥇. The evaluation ceremony organized by our school to honor the students who successfully passed the A-level was an unforgettable event. It was held in the school auditorium which was beautifully decorated for the purpose. There was excitement and pride as students, teachers and families came together to celebrate this milestone.          The event started with an inspiring speech by our Principal who appreciated the hard work and determination of the students. Unforgettable accident

              It was a chaotic morning and my father and I hurried to reach my exam center. We started the journey on his motorcycle but it was a rainy day and the road was slippery.  Suddenly I saw the wheel slip and land on the ground.  Father quickly helped me. Although there was no major injury, there were minor injuries. But I was determined to appear for the exam. I faced the exam a little late. It was an experience I will never forget. It was a day that taught me resilience in the face of the unexpected.
